Comic Fiesta + EOY 2010 post

Wooo /w/ Finally CF is over! Ahhh, i'm still recovering from the post-con syndrome orz my left elbow joint hurts for some reason. Perhaps I henshin-ed too much?


So CF was held at Berjaya Timesquare Hotel this year. I must say, not too bad choice of location since its more central than Sunway Pyramid (although Pyramid is so much nearer to my hostel  (Ｔ▽Ｔ)) Didn't really spend that much time in the hall, again ahaha （　´∀｀）;;;


I liked the photoshoot locations though! Nice lighting and all ( ・ω・) got a couple o' nice shots of my Nigo there.


So anyway, Friday night as usual i'm doing last-minute work on costumes (Ｔ▽Ｔ) at least it wasn't as stressful as last year where I had to work on several costumes. I kinda cheated this time though herpderpderp


On Saturday morning with a few hours of sleep, went to my hostel first to grab some costumes and Shin (≧∇≦)/ then head to Orkid Inn Pudu which took a while since we had trouble finding the place OTL;;


Rested for a while, went out to Timesquare Mall, had dinner, came back, watched Kamen Rider W and Mr.Brain while working on costumes.


Woke up and did more last-minute work on costume, set out, lined up for uber long ticket line and finally was ready to enjoy the con at around 11-ish


On Day 1, I was an uncle butler ( ・ω・)

Dat mustache! （*´▽｀*）

Was barely recognized durhur mostly walked around, met friends, took pics, saw my Master(!), and near the end of the day, got gastric lolol looks like I vomited out too many miracles until I got gastric ＿|￣|○


Thanks to Shin and my bro for taking care of this silly person OTL thank goodness this gastric wasn't as bad as my previous ones.


And as for Day 2, my initial plan was to be 4 Kamen Riders; namely lonelyPhilip (W/Double), Ichimonji Hayato (Spirits), Ryuutaros (Den-O) and Urataros (Den-O) b-but I left my shirt and pants at my hostel! D'OH-moment indeed.

Herpderp Urataros kinda failed because somehow my wig got flattened and I seemingly forgot how to do a nanpa-face again. And my belt died on me.

Ahh well, least I had fun and got to meet new and old friends =)

EOY 2010


So, went back to my hometown after Figure Studies exam and then stoned around, played L4D2 and such. Only started on my Marisa costume after dinner （　´∀｀）;;;

So yeah..practically vomited out 97% of the costume in one night and then finished the rest at Sawa's place in SG. Sniff although on the day we headed to SG, the bus left us at the SG checkpoint! （　ﾟ Дﾟ）


Was a super fail Marisa ＿|￣|○ I'll stay away from girl characters for a while liar, you're still doing Oichi in the future.


Then Shin and I were supposed to leave on Monday but since we woke up late （　´∀｀）;;; we decided to stay until Wed because thanks to a sudden last-minute decision, we were going to Universal Studios! (゜∀゜)━━━!!!!!


T'was fun and all and b'awww I miss my SG friends already

Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider: Chou Den-O Trilogy Episode Yellow: Treasure de End Pirates

Kamen Rider DiEnd. Trolling everyone since 2009.

Yeah, just finished watching that movie and why yes that IS the name of the movie.


I quite enjoyed this episode out of the three. Ranking would be:


1) Yellow
2) Blue
3) Red


Partially because I have a bias for Totani Kimito who played Kaito Daiki. I love you Troll-chan! *shot*


Let's see. Yellow had lotssss of Totani fanservice, not that I mind it （*´▽｀*） Blue had adorable KoutarouTeddy bromance and Red had Awwww YuutoAiri.

The great thing about Red is that we get to see Momotaros as a hobo.

Went to IKEA with my housemate, SY, yesterday. She went there to look at the lighting department (hurhur ID student) while I went for the meatballs /shot

Helloooo, long time no see XD Haven't had any motivation to write in my blog U__U;; I still haven't written my GACC and TAF reports *kicked by Priest*

So here *dumps some photos* First, from TAF.

My skirt was all sorts of fail (so was my ahoge sob) 8D orz I think I cut it wrong Q__Q But I like how the sleeve ruffles(?) & the collar ruffles came out. Can't believe I finished it in time. I need to stop doing insane last-minute cosplays.

At TAF, they had this neat photo-taking place for cosplayers = ) But the place had killer, WILL-BURN-YOUR-SOUL, spotlights XD Photo was taken by my "Germany/Brother/West", Guki. She wasn't cosplaying Germany though, she was in a maid outfit. LOL when she first saw me, she's like "omg nii-san, you're in a skirt!" and I was "But you're in a maid dress!". Sob I hope I get to photoshoot with my brother this year. I've been brother-less for so long. Hitori wa tanoshi sugiru zeee I seriously need to finish Prussia's winter uniform so I can match 8D

This is from GACC Day 2! It's the Allies & Nordics (minus Denmark sob)! My Nordics group were very surprised when we saw the Allies. We were like spazzing over them from the inside of the changing room LOL. Also, I am too darn tall OTL I seriously need to cosplay Russia next, da?

With our last-minute Dambolis!Sealand. LOL me & my friends like made it at my house on the night of Day 1. We had nothing better to do since we didn't go for the Matsuri so we gave birth to Dambolis, watched Gintama, Jinnai Tomonori and random vids.

Hooray trials are over! It was torturing ;_; well, glad it's over. Good luck to those taking Perdagangan on Friday! =) OTL I still have to go to school on Friday to hand in my Minda Pengarang and hunt down Pn. Noraini for my BSMM marks. U_U;; kids, never do things last minute. Ahh, there goes the time that could have been used for sewing Taiwan or designing the shirt for my sister's Malaysian Night.

Anyway, I'll be going for Taylors' Asaban Fest on the 26th of September as Taiwan! /o/ Not going for the Matsuri though.

This is what Taiwan looks like by the way. (Isn't she cute?) Yes, I do know that it's a girl and that I rarely cosplay girls XD I just hope I can finish sewing in time or I'll be Prussia again.

Sigh, wish I could go for Anime Festival Asia ;__; So many awesome guests OTL but it's during SPM O-oh well, maybe I can go next year. Well, I should get working on my minda pengarang and tuition work. Will try to update with GACC report asap XD

So today I decided to look at what cosplay stuff I could sell. Took out my Ashford Academy uniform top out for examination and found:

Oh btw, if anyone's interested, i'm willing to sell my Ouran (male) jacket, Akatsuki cloak, Bleach shinigami uniform and also a hime-cut, chin-length (or was it slightly longer?), pink wig and maybe more. Just name me a price and we'll see how things go from there. Shall post a proper link on CFforum later. Man, i'm gonna be so sad when/if I part with them. Q__Q

Uhuhuhu, my hat's done \o/ and my sword.....arghhhh *throws it at Denmark* >8l After the putty dried, there were still cracks so I tried to patch it up with more putty but it was still cracked when it dried OTL so I decided to break the putty off (again) and paper-tape it (again).

Then I spray-painted it. Waiting for the chrome to fully dry e_e gonna use a hairdryer on it since it's taking so slow. While waiting for it to dry i'll probably modify my coat and bootcovers. Again. And make sure I have all my stoof for tomorrow e_e)b

Trial And Error

Hmmm~ decided to break the guard of my sword because it was cracking up OTL It probably happened because:

1) Before my dad got a new tub of putty, I was using the leftovers from last year which had hardened a bit LOL
2) I didn't secure the guard properly to the blade so it was a bit loose and put stress on the putty-ied guard so that's why cracks appeared.

So I paper-taped it and re-putty-ied it again 8D;; hopefully it won't crack this time and now to go work on that dreaded karangan OTL
